Our renewable n-butanol provides a route to sustainably sourced esters of naturally derived fatty acids such as oleic and palmitic acids, routinely utilised throughout the personal care industry. By combining naturally derived acids with renewable n-butanol, we aim to introduce a new platform of unique performance esters to enhance performance in cosmetic and personal care product formulations.
Our bio-acetone offers a renewable alternative to petroleum-based acetone, a widely used and important raw material in cosmetics and personal care. Through hydrogenation, we can produce isopropyl alcohol, commonly known as rubbing alcohol in cosmetics and personal care. Through esterification of renewable acetic acid with our n-butanol, we can produce a 100% bio-based butyl acetate, used in a wide range of personal care applications.
