n-Butanol

Green Biologics is the only global supplier of bio-based n-butanol. Our n-butanol is produced through fermentation of sugars from renewable feedstocks, resulting in a high purity renewable n-butanol. It is readily biodegradable, has medium volatility and restricted miscibility in water making it useful as both a solvent and a formulated ingredient in cosmetic and personal care products.

Our BioPure n-butanol is molecularly identical to (but of higher purity and quality than) n-butanol produced from petroleum. It can be directly substituted into existing applications and formulations as well as being used to develop high-performing green substitution products.
