GBL has a seasoned team of industry leaders who together have built numerous companies and have brought a combined 400 million gallons per year of biofuels capacity online in the U.S. in the past two decades.
We are working with partners across the globe to design, build or retrofit, and operate biobutanol facilities to process a wide range of feedstocks, including cellulosic feedstocks such as miscanthus, forest residues, bagasse, corn stover, sorghum, switchgrass, pulp waste streams, and green bio-wastes. We have projects in process in China, India and Brazil as well as a core focus on the North American market, where we have pilot and demonstration facilities, and where we’ve recently announced a Letter of Intent to acquire our first production facility.
GBL’s mission is to create and develop the processes, build the production facilities, and commercialize biobutanol and other C4 products in collaboration with our partners across the value chain.
